Confusion is the ability to briefly confuse humans lasts for only a few moments, due to biting. Sleep is the ability to put humans and animals to sleep with song. Nature magic gives her the ability to talk to/understand/and heal all members of flora and fauna (plants & animals ). Flight is accomplished with the aide of her fairy wings. Size shifting, another ability due to her fairy nature, she can transform into various sizes. APPEARANCE --- Skye Sweetnam Posey stands at a simple four feet, and a handful of inches. Though when wearing her boots (which is often) she measures in right at the five foot mark. Her hair is constantly changing with her mood and however she's feeling the need to express herself. It's usually bright and vibrant colors with streaks. From red, neon pink, neon blue, purple, etc. Her natural color is a dirty blonde, but it's not very often that people get to see that. Her eyes are a bright shade of blue, for the most part- however when she's feeling sad they turn a shade closer to grey and when she's angry they become a darker shade of blue. The most dominating facial feature would have to be her mouth, she's got huge lips- and all the sass one would expect to find coming out of them when set off. She does have her ears pierced twice in each lobe, but there are not tattoos as of today, and no scars worth mentioning. Posey's clan originates from the lush and beautiful hills of Ireland. When the great hunt began, they had no choice but to flee and relocate. Back then there had been an entire city of the fae living together. When they fled, many of the families break off into smaller groups and lost contact with one another. Posey's family had come to America where they settled down in the Virginia Mountains. In order to better 'blend in'. They decided to live their life at more average human sizes, and try to pass as any typical American family. As Posey began to grow up, she had more and more questions about their past, and the other fairies. Of course her parents could give her no real answers, for they no longer knew of any way to contact the others. Posey has never seen any type of Fae other than her own immediate family, and it depresses her greatly. Over the past summer, word came to her parents through some Elven friends that there were two schools in Redwood Falls, Oregon that was accepting Magical Students of various races. Feeling this was the perfect chance for Posey to get the answers she wanted, they signed her up with Drakeridge Academy. The thought of leaving her home, and her family doesn't appeal to the young Fairie, especially since her parents can't promise that there will actually be any other Fae students there. So they decided to push her into going by explaining that she had a "quest" to fulfill. They've lived such a sheltered life, they want to know what it's like for magical creatures in the rest of the world, and if humans have come to accept them yet, or perhaps have even forgotten about them over the years. The only reason Posey even agreed to take up the quest is because her parents promised to take her to Ireland once she's finished, to get a glimpse of their old home... If it's still there.
